This project highlights a custom ranch-style panel garage door installation by Sky Castle. We upgraded this Castle Rock home with a dark forest green paneled door featuring mid-section window inserts, designed to complement the natural wood siding and withstand severe winter conditions.
The homeowner reached out to Sky Castle needing a heavy-duty, insulated garage door replacement capable of handling Colorado’s freezing temperatures while adding a rustic, mountain-modern aesthetic. They selected an insulated ranch-style panel door in a deep green finish, complete with horizontal window inserts that allow natural light into the garage space.
Our installation team removed the old, failing door and prepped the frame during cold conditions, installing high-R-value perimeter weather seals to stop draft leaks. We set up heavy-duty steel tracks, high-cycle springs, and an insulated belt-drive opener engineered to perform reliably through snowstorms and freezing temperatures.
The rich forest green finish provides a striking contrast against the natural wood exterior and surrounding snowy backdrop. The upgraded insulation and heavy-duty seals significantly improved heat retention in the garage, offering superior energy efficiency and dependable operation year-round.
